About the Republic
What is the Free Republic of Campfira?
This section will describe the Republic's nature, its relationship to physical territory, and its founding principle. Content under development.
Is e-Residency the same as citizenship?
No. e-Residency is the first formal step toward citizenship. It establishes your verified identity with the Government and grants access to designated online services. It does not, by itself, confer voting rights or rights of physical entry.
About applications
What does it cost?
The application fee for e-Residency is €25, payable at the end of the application form via Stripe. The Ministry has not yet announced fees for the Resident or Citizen tiers; an announcement will be posted to news.
What identity documents are accepted?
A government-issued passport, driver's licence, or national identity card.
How long do decisions take?
Most decisions are recorded within fourteen days. The Ministry will publish median and 90th-percentile decision times on the applications page once we have a meaningful sample.
What if I am rejected?
You may resubmit a new application after a 24-hour cooling-off period. The rejection notice tells you the reason.

Where is my data stored?
On infrastructure under the direct administration of the Government of Campfira. Personal data does not leave the Republic's infrastructure.
