The Free Republic of Campfira recognises four formal categories of belonging: e-Resident, Resident, Citizen, and Honorary. Together they form a graduated pathway from initial registration to full membership of the Republic.
The pathway
Most members of the Republic begin as e-Residents. After a period of demonstrated engagement, an e-Resident may apply to become a Resident. After further engagement and the satisfaction of the Republic's requirements, including sponsorship by existing Citizens, a Resident may be admitted as a Citizen.
Honorary citizenship is granted by the Founders Council in recognition of distinguished service. It is not an applied-for status.
